    Cresta Botsalo Undergoes Refurbishment

Cresta Marakanelo Limited (CML) has announced the refurbishment of Cresta Botsalo in Palapye as part of its revitalisation strategy, aimed at elevating the guest experience and unlocking another layer of the unforgettable this festive season. The refurbishment exercise is expected to be completed by year-end, showcasing a significant stride forward for the legacy establishment.

“Cresta Botsalo has a long enduring legacy of hospitality and service excellence in the Central region and is firmly established as a cornerstone of our industry. The ongoing refurbishment seeks to preserve this timeless legacy, while at the same time elevating it to modern standards. The hotel’s much anticipated facelift project will enhance every aspect of the hotel, showcasing a seamless blend of state-of-the-art amenities and modernity whilst remaining true to its original charm and architectural allure,” announced the CML Managing Director, Mokwena Morulane.

Commenting on the impact on the local economy Morulane highlights, “Beyond enhancing the guest experience, this refurbishment carries a broader significance for Palapye's local economy. Cresta Botsalo stands as a prominent landmark, playing an integral role in the town's economic landscape.

The decision to refurbish Cresta Botsalo underscores our ability to adapt to shifting market dynamics and our unwavering commitment to continuously enhance our service offerings. We value the feedback we receive from our loyal patrons and the business community, and this refurbishment is part of our broader strategy to not only meet but exceed our guests' expectations."

This strategic decision also underscores CML's commitment to reinvestment into the Group’s infrastructure and to continuously enhance its standards, whilst ensuring that Cresta Hotels remains the preferred hospitality brand across the country for all travellers.

For the period of the refurbishment, Cresta Botsalo will meticulously focus on enhancing various aspects of the property, including guest rooms, common areas, and amenities, with the aim to improve the overall aesthetic and ambiance of the hotel. During this period the hotel will remain fully operational, albeit with a reduced room inventory from time to time.

The Cresta Botsalo refurbishment comes as the latest development within the Group this year, following the announcement of refurbishments at Cresta Thapama and Cresta Marang in Francistown, the upcoming new 60 roomed extension wing at Cresta Mahalapye billed to open doors in the last quarter of the year, and the construction of the 50 roomed Cresta Jwaneng Boutique Hotel expected to open doors in early 2024.

CML is fully committed to ensuring that guest comfort and satisfaction remains the utmost priority across its group of hotels, and the Company is steadfast in its commitment to delivering a truly authentic African hospitality experience to all its guests. The CML guests are encouraged to stay updated on the progress of the refurbishments across the Group, in anticipation of an improved offering and an enhanced value proposition once the refurbishments are completed.
