The much-anticipated, new Cresta Jwaneng Hotel is nearing completion and is expected to open its doors through a soft launch during July 2024. Situated adjacent to the existing Cresta Jwaneng property, the new hotel is poised to complement the existing hotel to offer an enhanced hospitality product in the strategic diamond town of Jwaneng, with its distinctive character, intentional design, and personalized service.

Constructed in partnership with Debswana Pension Fund who are the developers of the hotel, the project is at approximately 90% completion. The focus is currently on securing regulatory approvals; as well as on the fittings and finishings processes, to ensure that every aspect of the hotel meets the high standards of the modern guest.

"We are in the process of creating an iconic architectural product featuring 36 deluxe rooms, 9 long-stay rooms, 2 executive suites, a presidential suite, a paraplegic room, 2 additional conference rooms and a brand-new restaurant," unveiled the Managing Director of Cresta Marakanelo Limited, Mr. Mokwena Morulane.

The hotel's commitment to digitization is evident, with modern hospitality solutions integrated into the new offering. Morulane explained, "We are introducing modern technology in our hotel, that aims to cater to the needs of the modern business and leisure traveler. Notable among the upgrades is the introduction of app-based door locks, our pre-check-in and post-stay digital communication systems, and interactive smart TVs in all the rooms. These technologies are all meant to enhance the overall guest experience for our patrons, improve security, and provide unmatched convenience for our clientele."

The opening of the new hotel will bring the total offering at Cresta Jwaneng to 9 long-stay apartments, 36 deluxe rooms, 65 standard rooms, 2 executive suites, a presidential suite, a paraplegic room, 4 conference rooms, 2 swimming pools, 2 restaurants, and a fully equipped techno-gym.
