GENERAL MANAGER VACANCY 

We are looking for a suitably qualified General Manager x 2 to join our Cresta Zimbabwe team.

Job Purpose
Responsible for managing the Hotel team and overall hotel targets to deliver an excellent Guest experience while managing profitability and guest satisfaction measures.

Duties
1. Manage ongoing profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded
2. Lead in all key property issues including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment
3. Deliver achievable hotel budgets, and set other short- and long- term strategic goals for the property
4. Provide effective leadership to hotel team members
5. Lead in all aspects of business planning
6. Ensure costs are controlled and revenue opportunities are effectively sourced and delivered
7. Manage and develop the Hotel team to ensure career progression and effective succession Planning within Cresta Hotels
8. Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved

Job Requirements
• 10 years’ experience in hospitality
• Experience as Assistant GM or General Manager
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
• Possess strong commercial acumen, with experience in increasing profitability
• Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results in a similar sized property
• Excellent leadership skills
• Exceptional communication skills

General Manager Advert


CHEF VACANCY 

We are looking for a suitably qualified Class 1 Chefs to join our Cresta Zimbabwe team. (3 x Ala Carte, 3 x Saucier, 3 x Pastry, 3 x Head Chef)

Job Purpose
The position exists to oversee the entire kitchen operations by daily monitoring all food
preparation, presentation and delivery as per stipulated budget.

Duties
1. Maintenance of a high level of food quality and production with the aim of exceeding guest’s expectations.
2. Recommend menu modifications or new menu that meet quality standards
3. Ensure the consistent smooth running of food production areas within the Kitchen
4. Ensure optimal stock holding levels are adhered to in accordance to company requirements to prevent over or understocking
5. Participate in preparation of food costings for all food items prepared in the kitchen.
6. Ensure cleanliness in the Kitchen in accordance with HACCP standards

Qualifications
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• HND in Culinary Arts/ Professional Cookery
• Creative
• Class 1 trade tested
• Experience in Hotels will be an added advantage

FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER 

We are looking for a suitably qualified Food and Beverage Manager x 3 to join our Cresta Zimbabwe team.

Job Purpose
The position exists to run food and beverage operations profitably.

Duties
1. Revenue Control- Fully responsible for the food & beverage department’s financial performance and long-term sustainability.
2. Ensure required F&B procedures, operational and administrative systems and controls are in place.
3. Assist with daily, weekly and monthly food, beverage, paper supplies and operating equipment stock takes and variance reconciliation.
4. Interacting with Guests to receive valuable feedback and thus being a salesperson, researcher and problem solver.
5. Ensuring that the cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant, stores and bars are of the highest standard.
6. Manage and oversee the daily operation of the restaurant, bar, room service & banqueting department.
7. Staffing levels and rostering are maintained to meet operational requirements and within budgeted parameter.

Qualifications and Skills
1. HND in Hotel Management / Degree in Hospitality Management
2. 3 years Food and Beverage experience
3. Flair for cocktails and lattes.
4. Must be very well organized and able to work accurately under pressure.

FRONT OFFICE MANAGER VACANCY

We are looking for a suitably qualified Front Office Manager x 3 to join our Cresta Zimbabwe team.

Job Purpose
The position exists to run front office operations profitably.

Duties
1. Ensure Front Office Operations are in accordance to the stipulated budget and explain any deviations to management.
2. Ensure maximum room occupancy within the agreed yield management policy.
3. Conduct daily checks of all controls i.e. keys, adjustments/corrections, paid outs, high
balance accounts, voids, Guest ledger accounts, pit checks, empty room declaration.
4. Improve service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs,
providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.
5. Trains staff and monitors adherence to all credit policies and procedures to reduce bad debts.

Qualifications and Skills
1. HND in Hotel Management / Degree in Hospitality Management
2. 3 years Hotel Front Office experience
3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
4. Fluency in Ndebele for Cresta Churchill is a must and

HOUSEKEEPER VACANCY 

We are looking for a suitably qualified Executive Housekeeper x 3 to join our Cresta Zimbabwe team.

Job Purpose
Responsible for overseeing housekeeping operations to deliver an excellent Guest experience while monitoring housekeeping standards.

Duties
1. Oversee Housekeeping operations
2. Operate within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls and well managed schedules
3. Support departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures
4. Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Housekeeping Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork
5. Ensure team members have an up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities
6. Ensure staffing levels cover business demands
7. Ensure ongoing training to support housekeeping operations
8. Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated
9. Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a managerial or supervisory capacity

REVENUE MANAGER VACANCY 

We are looking for a suitably qualified Revenue Manager x 1 to join our Cresta Lodge Zimbabwe team.

Job Purpose
The position is responsible for maximising revenue, market share and profits for the hotel through the strategic coordination of revenue management processes and procedures.

Duties
1. Drive incremental EBITDA, RevPar and Fair Market Share performance
2. Develop, monitor and adjust sales and pricing strategies
3. Provide critical analysis of strategies, room statistics and demand factors
4. Ensure rate shopping data is consistent, appropriate and effectively analysed
5. Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotel and manage day to day yield operations.
6. Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends.
7. Responsible for best practice standards to include: competitor analysis; environmental scanning; market modelling; distribution yield management; business mix yield management; length of stay yield management; inventory availability by channel; pricing control and new pricing concepts.

Qualifications
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• HND in Hospitality
• Sound functional knowledge of Revenue Management
• Excellent competencies in Leadership, Planning and Organising, Communication and
