Known as the gateway to the much-visited Okavango Delta in Botswana, Maun is also a popular launching point for the numerous other wildlife activities on offer in this awe- inspiring corner of Africa. Visitors from all over the world arrive in this small town in their droves to partake in safaris to some of the most incredible game reserves, scenic flights over the Delta, 4×4 trails and more.

Cresta Maun, the new 83-bedroomed establishment scheduled for opening in 2017 is situated 10km away from the town’s centre. This Maun accommodation will offer facilities for both the leisure and business traveller, with two state-of-the-art conference facilities for up to 300 people.   The Cresta Maun is situated on the banks of the Thamalakane River which is at the southern end of the Okavango Delta. Home to several bird species, Cresta Maun offers a tranquil setting from which visitors can explore the wonders of Botswana.

The Hotel is only 15 minutes’ drive from Maun International Airport. Maun is the tourism capital of Botswana and the gateway to the Okavango Delta. Activities including safari trips to Savuti, Moremi and Chobe National Parks can be organised from the Activities desk.
